cScibot Lego Robotic Camp

What we will be doing

Campers will use the LegoŽ Mindstorm™ Robotics kit to build several computer controlled robots. The campers can build cars, tanks, boats or something of their own creation. Campers will learn how to control the robot to avoid obstacles, pick up and carry objects, or even compete in a Sumo-style robot competition.

LegoŽ robots are easy and fun to program. The software used to program the robots was designed for grade school children so everyone will be able to get started right away. There are several means of creating control programs to operate the robot, each with more power and complexity.

As participants become more proficient at controlling the robot there is a programming tool which is designed to grow with him / her.
